Motivation: What motivates you?

Motivation is the fuel of sport participation. It is crucial to understand what really motivates you as a coach or an athlete. What keeps you going in the most challenging times of your life? This workshop will assist you in understanding what really motivates you to coach or to play and will aid you in creating a personal mission statement. It will open up a space for reflection and self-examination in order to help develop awareness for why you do what you do in sport. You will use these insights to create your own personal mission statement.  A mission statement will clarify your values as an athlete or as a coach (whether external or internal rewards keep you going) and help keep you motivated.
